Opened by Jason Evans in 2005, Neon Dragon Tattoo quickly rose to the top of Body Art Studios in the area. Voted Number One several consecutive years, and home to multi award winning artists, Neon Dragon is synonymous with high quality art and top quality jewelry.

If you would like to schedule a tattoo consultation or tattoo appointment, we strongly encourage you to email the shop at neondragontattoo@gmail.com or call us during our normal business hours at 319-294-4197. All appts do require a non-refundable cash retainer. If you have a specific artist in mind you would like to talk to, please call ahead to ensure they are working and will be available. In-person tattoo consultations are available. Monday through Thursday from 2 – 5PM is our preferred time to do in-person consultations.

Walk-in tattoos are being accommodated as our schedules allow. You do need to stop by the shop in person to get on the call-in list, and we call back walk-in requests on a first come first serve bases.

While we understand and appreciate the significance of sharing the experience of getting a tattoo or piercing, to keep the number of people and interactions to a minimum, we ask that no more than ONE guest accompany you during your procedure. In addition, children are NOT allowed to be at the studio during your tattoo or piercing.

***Retainers are non-refundable and non-transferable. All retainer amounts DO apply towards total cost of the tattoo. Retainers are forfeited if you do not show up for your appointment. We are allowing you to reschedule day of your tattoo appointment for health reasons. In these cases your retainer will be honored and applied towards the rescheduled date. Anyone can reschedule for any reason with 24 hours notice up to 2 times, and still have the retainer honored.****
